Do some married couples prefer to make love with the lights on or the lights off?
We usually make love in the morning and afternoon on his break so you can't turn off the daylight. We close our eyes off and on during and look at each other. Men are visual so it turns them on better if they can see you. Also whatever they are seeing when they are aroused is what will turn them on again and again so don't you want that to be you? Do some married couples prefer to make love with the lights on or the lights off?
If a person is not comfortable with their body, they may prefer the lights to be off in fear the other person would also see their ';imperfections.';
And others are comfortable with their bodies and enjoy watching each others expressions.
But if you have to have the lights off, just to have sex with that person out of repulsion, then maybe you shouldn't be having sex with them.
Married or not, that is not an issue. I see why you mentioned 'married'. The close your eyes and get it over with.
Ok, Ok, things are not as you would like the to be, so talk it over and make your point and if that does not work and you have to close your eyes and get it over with quickly, why continue with that kind of life.
I really don't think it matters
my husband and I have sex just as much in the day time with the windows open and the sunlight shining in as we do at night with the lights off

I'm the same way with my husband and I should think you'd find yourself lucky she still has a high sex drive...
also, if you're just trying to ';get it over with'; like sex is a chore rather than something to be enjoyed and have fun with, then there is something seriously wrong with your marriage, sorry for you
depends what mood i'm in...sometimes nighttime and moonlight is very seductive...sometimes if im playful and want a daytime quickie, then i'm all for the lights...if we want to video or anything like that, lights are on...but those times of the month when im feeling bloated and unattractive, the light is evil LOL
It all depends on the couple and what they're comfortable with, right? You shouldn't have sex if you just want to ';get it over with';. If that's what you're feeling while having sex with your wife, then you're not having sex for the right reasons. Hope this helps!
Light on when I was younger. Now I prefer the lights off. Its a shame that you ask about getting it over with. Sex can too much fun to be simply endured.Show him what you need to get a more fulfilling experience.
I don't care. We have sex wherever and whenever so if the lights happen to already be off, then sobeit. But usually whenever we're about to have sex, the lights are on. Or at least the tv.
It depends on the couple and there is no ';right'; answer. It comes down to what each individual couple is most comfortable with.
I think lights on seems a little harsh. I prefer candlelight or even having the TV on in the background for a soft light.
OMG I would love to do it with the lights on but for some reason its always at 3:00am in the bedroom done at 3:45am at least one a month

Lights off- that way we can leave some things to the imagination!! I'm dead self conscious though and although my husband prefers lights on, it ALWAYS lights OFF in our house!

im not married but OFF! i wouldnt say i just ';WANT TO GET IT OVER WITH'; either. it just makes me more comfortable.
For some reason we don't have sex at night. It's always morning or afternoon. Full sunlight.
