We all have character flaws. It depends on whether the couple can deal with them inside the marriage firstly, and then can they address it in wider circles. My guess is Yes, due to the longevity of marriage as a social norm.
No Character flaws are what make us human, they shouldn't need to be resolved rather, they should be accepted.
I'd have to accept hers and she mine,and we'd each work on our own and support each other in that.
No, we progress at different speeds so inevitably someone will be left behind.
