I went to visit my friend in her uni yesterday and i seen at least 10 gay/lesbian couples there, In school i have never seen 1 lesbian or gay couple. why is this. is it because more people ';come out'; in uni or is it just my school..or that uni?Why are there so many gay/lesbian couples in university?
it's because by then the people that are gay or whatever have finally come to appreciate or recognize their sexuality so they can be open about it. possibly also because people in university are less ignorant and might be more acceptin towards gay people, so people start to come out of the closet more when they are in a better environment then at their highschool
one other possibility could be that they are farther away from their home and families where there was less privacy and they didn't feel ';';safe'; even showing their true sexualities to their parents

well probably more people come out because then they are away from parents and hometowns where you know everyone and you feel like you'll be disowned. when you go to college or move you feel like you can be yourself and you dont have anything to worry about.
