#1-(a)-My husband and I average 2 or three times a week, but have 2 young children together (ages 2 and 1) and 2 from my previous relationships (ages 12 and 9). That makes finding the time, energy and inclination all at once rather difficult...we have to work at making time for each other..

I think it depends on the couple, I'm 36 and my husband and I make love, but don't see it as the basis for keeping a marriage alive. We love eachother very much and we tend to do the little things that make eachother happy. We are the best of friends and that's more than I could have ever dreamed
