Why are gays denied rights awarded to even the most toxic hetero couples?

Because hatred of gay people is one of the last acceptable prejudices. Many conservative politicians and evangelical preachers rake in lots of money by scaring people with false witness about gay people and playing on ignorant people's fears.Why are gays denied rights awarded to even the most toxic hetero couples?
Because.... aw hell, I was gonna try to make something up, but I just can't do it.





I really don't understand why same-sex couples are denied rights while any heterosexual couples, even people who hit each other, even people who don't care about preserving the ';sanctity'; of marriage, have all the rights they desire.Why are gays denied rights awarded to even the most toxic hetero couples?
yeah I know if 2 people of the same sex getting married causes them distress or issues then the real problem is THEIR marriage.Marriages are supposed to be strong and stable it's on pretty shaky ground if a heterosexual couple let 2 people of the same sex getting married affect THEIR marriages.Theres no way we could affect anyones marriages in the first place it's just ignorance and bigotry plain and simple.I don't understand why they don't concentrate on the real issues anyways: divorce and infedelity for example.
because the laws of the land are written by individuals who are elected...


and the elected listen to those who yell the loudest.


the ones that yell the loudest are scared of what they don't understand...


A free willing liberal soul doesn't yell until they feel they are being stepped on , even tho they themselves feel others are being wrongfully treated they won't step up to the plate to challenge the scared people to realize that what they want is rightfully owed to them.

Because radical anti-gay activists (many who commit adultery like Ensign, Vitter and Sanford) want us to believe that heterosexuality is somehow superior and that their marriages are somehow superior. Yet, one only has to watch the news to see that 50% of their marriges end in divorce, infidelity and adultery are rampant, there is spousal abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, some of them torture and murder their children, fornication is widespread resulting in children they toss away like old dish rags, etc. The state of heterosexual marriage is dismal and they desperately want someone else to blame it on so they don't have to take responsibility for their own failures.
Because people are ignorant and unwilling to open their minds. They don't mind denying gay rights, because they will never know what it's like to be in love with someone of the same sex.
Because it has taken a long time for you all to get as organized as you are becoming. If you keep speaking up, you will get the right to marry.
Because people are used to the trash, gays scare them because they're different. Don't worry, they will learn to cope eventually.
because theist think it is immoral it is not far from it i see more happy gay couples then i do happy straight couples
