Love has very little to do with similar IQs as long as there is some similarity in intelligence. When 2 people meet, they do not calculate how close their IQs are, they just consider their compatibility and liking for each other and if they are roughly on a similar wavelength. Machines work, relationships don't 'work'. Do you care for that person? Does that person care for you? Although IQ might be useful in determining whether someone can do a job or follow an educational course, it is just a number with about as much relevance as the number of leaves on a tree.Do couples need to have a close or evenly matched IQ for their relationship to work?
First, understand that depending on what test you take, you will have a different score. One maxes out at around 140 and another at 150.
Second, IQ is comparable to luggage size. A person with an IQ of 138 may have a larger ';bag'; than a person with an IQ of 108. Yet, the person with the lower IQ may have more ';items'; in their ';bag';.
Finally, most people who have had a professional IQ test administered by a Psychologist, did so during their childhood. Some may discover that if they were to retest as an adult, the score would be substantially lower.
';Some factions believe that modern education has become more geared toward IQ tests, thus rendering higher scores, but not necessarily higher intelligence';(Mingroni, Michael A. (2007), Resolving the IQ Paradox: Heterosis as a Cause of the Flynn Effect and Other Trends, pp. 806鈥?29)
What you need to make a relationship work is to be a good business person ;) A good working relationship involves constant negotiation. You must be willing to give as well as receive. Be willing to forgive the little things %26amp; choose your battles wisely. Make sure to set time aside for just the two of you. Also be a good listener as well as a good communicator. Thats what is important.Do couples need to have a close or evenly matched IQ for their relationship to work?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and disagree with everyone else; I think you do.
Not necessarily IQ's -and that, I think, is where everyone is getting caught up- but definitely in overall intelligence/mental capacity. A really bright man/woman simply isn't going to click with a member of the opposite sex that isn't at least within the same range of intelligence that they are.
not necessarily -but if there is a wide difference it helps if each one has time outside the relationship with their peer group.
nope but you don't want to have to spend a lot of time with someone who is really stupid or someone far to smart cuz aether way it will get boring talking to them
generally speaking yes but it's not carved in stone
nope...life does not revolve around iq's .. we tend to rely on experience and wisdom as we age

Questions Couples Can Ask Each Other?
I play this game lately with my long-time boyfriend where we go back and forth asking each other cute/naughty/deep questions and we're totally running out of questions to ask each other about relationships/sex/pasts.
can you suggest a few unique and/or interesting ones maybe?
we are both over 23, so don't worry about our precious virgin eyes and ears haha.Questions Couples Can Ask Each Other?
Google has many if you do a quick search, but since I'm still young, I don't want to ruin my 'precious virgin eyes'. Haha, I love that, but anyways, these are some of my favorites from truth or dare that I play with my girls:
What question do you not want to be asked?
(Next round, ask that question).
If you could go back and take back something you said to an ex, a friend, or a family member, what would it be?
What is the craziest thing you have ever done with the same sex? Opposite sex? Would you rather tell this to your mom or grandma?
If you could have me or one million dollars (in cash), which would you pick? (You may not want to answer... experience).
If you could do anything to me right now, what would you do?
(Similar to last question) Would you rather [insert last question's answer here] to me or Megan Fox (or any other hot girl)?
I hope this helps and have fun! %26lt;3

Why is it necessary for all married Chinese couples to hold wedding banquets?
custom and cultureWhy is it necessary for all married Chinese couples to hold wedding banquets?
It is not a necessity to hold wedding banquets, you don't have to if you don't want to. Traditionally, marriage is a big thing to Chinese people/culture, and happens only once in a life time. (Chinese very rarely seen divorced, even if marriage goes horribly wrong) Wedding banquets also lets you reap in money for a newly wed, via money gifts from parents, relatives, and whoever you invite, and the money is used to set up the life for the newly weds. (It is often the case that you make a profit for a wedding from all the money you get from gifts than to open a banquet) Nowadays, you can just go to a marriage court and get pronounced husband and wife without having to worry about banquet, and get divorced that way as well. Why is it necessary for all married Chinese couples to hold wedding banquets?
although i am not chinese, my nationality is vietnamese. and whenever someone gets married in our culture we also have a big feast. it is more about traditions and long time customs but i think it's more of a way to bless the newlywed couples. they have a festive feast to send them off on their way towards their marriage. but before the feast takes place there is a ceremony held at either the bride or groom's house to give their parent's blessings to each other and to pray to their ancestors so they can have a successful life and marriage.

Why do same-sex couples do not qualify for immigration benefits as heterosexual couples do?
Well, you are talking USA. In Europe you would find same sex couples DO qualify for immigration benefits as a married couple would. Consider that at least four EU nations (Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK) offer marriages or partnerships that are identical with marriage benefits.
It will take a while, I'd guess 5-10 years before the USA changes its tune. But it is going to happen. As more and more states permit gay marriage it will become less and less controversial. Then federal law will change as well. Why do same-sex couples do not qualify for immigration benefits as heterosexual couples do?
There is already rampant fraud regarding sham marriages for the sake of immigration, katie bar the door letting anyone just claim they are ';married';
There should be no special considerations for marriages to immigrants and then see how many happen - it's a joke - just look at Y!A and see how many are fraudulent -Why do same-sex couples do not qualify for immigration benefits as heterosexual couples do?
currently gay marriages aren't given many of the same rights as straight marriages.
Time will change this... but we will first have to see the day when it is legal throughout the us for two gay people to get married before we see them getting extra rights like immigration.
Bigotry. Federal law does not recognize same-sex couples as a result of DOMA (which, incidentally, Clinton signed), whether they be married abroad, or married or civil-unioned where permitted to do so in the United States. There you have it.
Because the government is an a-s-s that hates and wants to kill diversity.
In their eyes, gay people aren't worth as much as straight people.
Why should they? In America we only tolerate gays. It is not a federal government approved life style.
come to think of it they should...i mean it is a spouse..right?same rights as a hetero spouse...
It's because this country is full of bigots who couldn't care less about anyone rights besides their own.
We have not even tackled the issue of same sex civil unions vs. marriage...for the love of Pete...lets walk before we run.
Gay marrige isn't recognized by the federal government
because this world is retarded and we just live in it.
Because they're sinners.

What are some good effects of gay couples adopting children?
i'm writing a persuasive paper and I need 3 reason so far I have
1. More children will be adopted and have a home?
2. Children will have an opportunity at a better life?
I'm look for a 3rd idea? What are some good effects of gay couples adopting children?
they usually have better jobs and are more apreciative than a straight couple of the gift of children. What are some good effects of gay couples adopting children?
I'm with btownznd on this. Raising kids who aren't homophobic would be a great good effect on society. Also, this would mean that at least a few children who realised they were gay during their adolescence would have accepting parents (of course, there are plenty of heterosexual parents who are accepting, but too many who aren't; and the proportion of gay people, around 10%, is the same whether the parents are het or gay).
The data shows both of your points don't benefit the children as much as the negative sides (from the child's point of view, not the adults).
If you do find data supporting gay adoption, please forward it to me.
Allows the next generation to have more open minded people....
it filters hate from humanity and the children will be more accepting of other people and their values.
People like me who do not like kids do not have to worry about being assigned a kid to raise.
Any couple gay or not is better than a single person. Raising a kid takes two people.
There are none.

What are some inexpensive fun things for couples to do together?
After being married to someone for awhile and you have children, you tend to get lost in everything else you have to do and forget about fun times with your spouse - what are some ideas of activities that we can do together to get to know one another all over again? What are some inexpensive fun things for couples to do together?
Walks, picnics, rent movies, send the kids to a relatives for the weekend and enjoy the privacy of your home for a couple of days, role play, be exploitative with each other... etc ...What are some inexpensive fun things for couples to do together?
Get a babysitter,go out to dinner.End up in some dark out of the way place and have a hot time in the car.Heavy petting etc...
You could just do simple things like go play miniature golf together, have a picnic, or me and my husband go to the adult store and just have a great laugh about all of the freaky toys that are available.
You can have a picnic in the park, and have on a trench coat, with nothing on. You can cook him a nice candlelight dinner, and different from the usual menu you serve. or go to the florist and buy some rose petals, put on a white covering on your bed, with the rose petals all on the bed, and have candles all around the room. Go to a movie, and have a coat on, and that is all, while you are their, just pull his hand over. and smile.
i suggest finding a hobby you can enjoy together. also, doing something physical is great. take a hike, go swimming, take dance lessons. my husband and i go swimming every night after work, its very bonding to play together in the surf
Try taking a class together in a community college near you - swimming, dancing, pottery, painting, whatever it is you both are interested in. This will give you a scheduled time to ';get out'; and do something together.
My husband does little things for me. Were both active adults so one day after work (we get home at the same time) He told me to put on a pair of shorts a t-shirt and some tennies we droped the baby off at my moms and we went to the golfing range. Ive never played golf and he has so he taught me how to swing. It was a blast. And the ranges usually stay open till around nine or ten so it works out if you have kids. it was romantic in a corny cheesy sort of way. Also My husband suprised me on saturday by taking me iceskating for the first time. I was a natural at it of course and my hubby fell twice ';';on purpose';'; its things like that which make you feel connected to your partner.
get with other couples and swing
SEX!
It depends on where you live. I live in the D.C. area and the museums are free. Parking, however is not. Your city might have a web site that you can look up. Why not find out if one of the local parks has a free movie night or music in the park. Putt putt golf is one of my fav's along with bowling. Competitive stuff can be good sometimes.
Make your way to a local arcade. I know it sounds silly, but it will help you feel young and carefree. Play with your husband! We like to have wrestling matches on the bed(non-sexual-just so we don't get hurt). It really bonds us. You have to be silly- it gets you out of your comfort zone and helps you feel that you are getting to know your husband in a totally different way!
Take a vacation to a beautiful island somewhere and........GET YOUR FREAK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are many things you can do. You could go on a picnic in the park for one. Anything that you BOTH enjoy doing would be rewarding. Even a romatic candlelit dinner at home while the kids are away would give you the time you need to reconnect.
Go out on fun dates--get icecream together, go for a walk in the park, after the kids go to bed watch a romantic movie and order a pizza, play games together, go on a picnic. Write eachother a love note and hide it for the other to find.
You could pack a picnic and go to the park, kick off your shoes and just relax with each other.
Me and my husband both have Harley's so we take a lot of rides together. We also take our dogs to the dog park, it gives you time to chat while watching the dogs play. We rent movies and go out to dinner with other couples and alone. When he's working on the bike or outside I help him, it's a chance for us to spend time together, plus he likes to teach me stuff and I am interested in learning about what he does and like to do
Take a picnic basket and blanket to the lake or simply go for a walk on the hiking trail. Find a private spot and sit on the blanket looking at the trees. It's a great way to get the communication going, because there are no distractions. It can also be very relaxing and romantic, just looking at the clouds.
Sit and be together. Just talk. Or go for walks or something.

What will be a nice vacation for couples?
Consider Curacao. Most people forget about Hurricanes in the Caribbean when choosing their destinations that could turn out to be very adventurous if you are the extreme type but can also ruin your whole vacation. So if you want an island in the Caribbean where the chance for hurricanes is almost none, than Curacao is the island to choose. Dominica
Las Vegas, Nevada. It has some of the best hotels in the country and they have great pool areas with water slides, lazy rivers, and wave pools. You can get to see first class shows equal to anything on Broadway. Then you have sightseeing and gambling. Rates go down in the summer and hotel rates are cheapest Sunday through Thursday nights. July and August you can get a room in many hotels on the strip for around $100. a night for two people.
Or, take a cruise. Once you are on ship all of your living arrangements and food are taken care of. There are pools and hot tubs on ship, entertainment, casinos, and they plan fun activities for the passengers each day. Plus cruise ships these days are much better than they used to be, many lines have multiple new ships now. You can get a 7-day cruise for from about $800 a person, depending upon when you go (just have to shop around for the cheapest week to go).
Well depending how old you guys are.....me and my boyfriend just got back from Aruba it is so beautiful there,so much to do such as water sports....the island isn't that big either so you dint even have to rent a car just take the cab....and the restaurants are some of the best rest rants i have ever eaten at.....and it wasn't even that expensive and the hotels are spectacular....
Go to the cliffs of Negril. If you can afford it go to The Caves. It is small and secluded and very romantic. You will be on the cliffs and it is spectacular. You can get down to the water by steps and swim. They also have a saltwater pool. Check their website. THey also havae a private restaurant in a cave you can have a romantic dinner in and also a private cave bath you can have a great time in. If you cant afford that go to Rockhouse. It is more affordable - also on the cliffs of Negril (Jamaica) but not quite as remote and romantic...You still get to stay in little huts on the cliffs so you get a lot of bang for the buck. And at both places yu can always take a cab to the seven mile beach which is so beautiful. There are restaurants all over so you can just take a towel and stay the day. Rockhouse has a thing going with one hotel and you can use their facitlites on the beach - chairs, etc. which is nice. Check out both websites.

Did anyone see what happend to the couples on the show Mamma's Boy?
I watched the episode but missed the end where they had blurbs to find out what happened with the couples. I saw which girl each guy picked but missed if they stayed together or went home by themselves.
ThanksDid anyone see what happend to the couples on the show Mamma's Boy?
Cards on the end indicated that Rob left his vacation early; and that Erica went to Florida to visit Michael's mom.

What is your view and opinion on couples living together without being married?
There is nothing wrong with it at all in fact my husband and i moved in together 3 months before we got married. What is your view and opinion on couples living together without being married?
I totally agree with the 3rd answer! My husband and I moved in together....well let me back up. I actually moved in with his family last September after knowing one another for 5 months, due to family issues that I no longer wanted to be a part of. We got an apartment together in December, got engaged in January, and married 5 weeks ago! I think it's great if you know ya'll are wanting to get married and spend the rest of your lives together. It's a great way to ';test the waters'; so-to-speak on your relationship and see how living together goes; whether you can get along or not. My husband and I refused to have sex though until our wedding night because that was something special we wanted to save for the most special day of our lives and it was truely amazing!! I highly recommend that, but it's not for everyone...What is your view and opinion on couples living together without being married?
I have done it shamefully I admit. Then I got saved and realized how wrong it is. Then I started dating my boyfriend (now husband) and we did not live together or sleep together until our honeymoon and it was so special. I think if people would follow God's plan more often and wait until marriage for sex, living together etc... then we wouldn't have all the problems we do have today. It's a shame that all these children now don't know who their dad is, know their parents are not married etc... And all these women having sex with multiple partners only to discover she is pregnant and doesn't know who the dad is. Sex was meant for a husband and a wife. Not for horny girls and boys to go ';bang'; eachother and zip up their pants and move on. Another reason there are so many Stds now.
Also statistics show if a couple lives together before marriage and then gets married they are at a higher risk of divorce.
My wife and I lived together before we got married. She didn't tell her parents because she did not want to be judge and I respected her decision. I don't see anything wrong with it, but you gotta know when the relationship is going to prosper or not. I don 't beleive people should live together for 10 years and never get married, that just doesnt' make sense to me, but 2 or 3 years makes sense. My wife and I dated for a year, lived together for a year before we got married.
It's fine in my opinion, if used to predict the direction of a relationship.
Also fine, if both parties agree that they won't marry.
The most important thing is honesty, and that you both agree about what you are doing and why.
Some people who lived together and decided not to marry will tell you how relieved they were to find out prior to taking the plunge.
Good luck.
TOTALLY WORTH IT. living with someone is SO different then just seeing them on dates and the such. i know that when you live with someone before you marry them, people will say, thenwhats the point of getting married?
i think its close minded to think that its a bad idea to live together before you marry. you could love someone to death and then move in with them and learn ALL their day to day habits, and decide they aren't for you. uh-oh. you're already married now you need a divorce. messy messy. Its easy if you're still dating because then if you decide things aren't going to work out you can easily go you're seperate ways...
Every situation is different. I've been with my man for 10 years and we where never married. We have two kids together. I call him my husband and introduse him like wise. Why haven't we been married? I can't afford to. Right now I get back about 5,000 dollars in taxes every year. He owes back the goverment and if we are married they will take it out of my taxes. Sinse I'm considered a single mom in the eyes of the goverment I can get assistense to go back to school and get my dagree as well as other forms of assistense. If it wasn't for the financial struggles we have had we would be married at the moments notice. How ever we know we belong together and will always remain together and my kids have a happy, secure, and loveing home and family. My opinion is its not always the best way, but for some its the only way.
I don't' think there's anything wrong with it, I say this because only after you've lived with someone can you really get to know what a person is like as far as their personal life. Whether they're a slob, neat freak, or something else like that. That's when you really get to know the other side of the person you're with, the side most people don't show their partner when they're dating, like their bad habits. It gives you some insight as to how they really are, now if you were to wait to move in with this person till after you got married and found out how messed up they were, guess what? You're stuck! As far as the sex, whether people believe it or not sex plays a big part in a healthy relationship, if you were to wait till after you got married and found out your man was a freak, into things you'd never do, some where in that marriage the train is going to run of the track because sexually the two of you just aren't compatible.
Fine by me.
They are less protected by law, but I don't see it as wrong or immoral.
Actually, I think it's a good idea to live together a few months to a couple of years before getting married. This way you can really find out if you are compatible and happy to have each other around at all times.
Try the shoes before you by them, but that is for shoes not marriage. What you are doing is shacking up. There is a reason it is called that. You are playing house with out taking the serious step of committing yourselves to each other. It is a childish thing that mentally under developed people do.
Look at the people that do it and you will see what I mean. What if you have children and they find out you shacked up. Would you want them to do that, or your parents?
Not a good idea. If you truly love one another you wouldn't do it.
Nothing wrong with it . Hes a freakin slob and i found that when i moved in with him before we got married . It would have shocked the hell out of me if i waited till after we were married to move in .I think it makes people closer as well . He knows me very well and it help us get to know each other better before we tied the knot.
It is down to everyone to do as they think fit as long as both people are happy with it. It will not work if one side of the relationship is not happy with it, for whatever reason. If both are happy to live together fine, if not then there could be problems.
I think that it is cool until they decide to bring kids into the picture. Kids need a stable upbringing and marriage not only provides a solid base for their security it guarantees certain legal and insurance benefits that children will need.
...they are in love.
...they are sharing responsibilites of life together.
...and they are happy.
...move on and enjoy your life too.

I jus got myself in this same deal. both of our familes dont agree with it and are tryin to pressure us to hurry an get married. all you can do is take your time and do it when the time is right.
Fine in my opinion. Think it's great because you get to know someone fully before considering marriage etc.
I think thats a good thing to do before you get married...that way so you know how his living situation is like!
Doesn't effect me one way or the other so i dont care if they do...

Board game ideas for two adult couples?
emphasis on adult. I am looking for a game to play with my buddy and his wife, and me and mine. something sexual without hardcore but fun stuff, drinking, shots, truth or dare kind of goofy stuff but a little sensual too. If you kinda get my drift, what games have you played. Heavy R rated types.Board game ideas for two adult couples?
There is a truth or dare style game with questions you have to answer, I just can't remember for sure what it was called. We played it once with another couple, it was fun, but kind of tense. Just make sure that none of you has any skeletons in the closet that this game could rattle free.Board game ideas for two adult couples?
I've heard of playing just about any board or card game ';adult style'; with certain ';favors'; instead of points, or play ';strip'; monopoly, twister, taboo, whatever....
Try Cranium it is very popular among adults. It is fun, and goofy.
hungry hungry hippos: one drink for every pellet eaten, loser strips, winner passes out. that's how it goes down every time...
Twister.

What can you say about Christian couples getting divorced and remarried?
My husband is Roman Catholic. I am Episcopalian. My husband got married when he was 18 years old to a girl that he was in love with. Unfortunately, she wanted the wedding and not the marriage and let him clearly know that shortly after they got married. He tried to do the right thing and make it work, but one night when he had to work, she took the money and the car and drove back to her parents house and said she wanted a divorce. My husband was extremely hurt by it and filed for divorce after they had been married for one month.
I married my husband about a 9 months after his divorce was final (we had dated in the past before his first wife) and he has been the best husband and father I could ever ask for and we've been going 4 1/2 years with our marriage now. I don't ever fault him for his divorce because he tried his hardest to make it work even if it was making him miserable at times trying to keep her happy. In my opinion, I don't think God was disappointed or upset with him because he was divorced, he did try everything.but he couldnt make his wife love him and when she is demanding a divorce, then what can you do?What can you say about Christian couples getting divorced and remarried?
People like those are total hypocrites. They keep telling and preaching to other people that marriage is sacred and shouldn't have its sanctity taken away by abusing it blah blah blah but if THEY get married then get divorced then get re-married to each other, it's fine. So not only is this a matter of hypocrisy but they also set a double standard. What can you say about Christian couples getting divorced and remarried?
I believe '; till death tears us apart'; is forced to be said by religion and not practical. That's why they forget their words they believe they have said in front of God. Religion is not practical, it's fiction
What you can say is nothing. This is their business. I know what you are thinking with the Christians your not suppose to divorce much less remarry. The way I see it. God is a loving God and doesn't wish for us to be miserable for the rest of our life's. He also knows we will all make mistakes and God is willing to forgive us for them. So why is it everyone thinks there is only certain mistakes we can make and be forgiven. God doesn't state that at all. I believe God would want us to try and make that commitment work but I also believe that God had rather me be with someone that I love and that loves me then be with someone that we are not happy with. I also believe you can't fool God, meaning acting as if you are happy with someone when you are not. So what I would say TO this couple is Great for you...You were smart enough to know when something is not right for you and are moving on to make things right.!!!
I don't think divorce is one of God's plans for our lives...but then again, we are forgiven from all sins...
Christianity as it is explained in the Bible, does not allow divorce or remarraige. Hence, these divorced-remarrying people you talk about are not Christians, and so they can do whatever they like in a Christian country. But if they continue to call themselves Christians, they are like 99% of Christians: they are ignorant of what their religion requires of them. All those Christian priests who allow divorce and remarriage (about 99%) are traitorous devils in the eyes of God. They are going to hell. There will be gnashing of teeth and wailing. If they have no teeth, teeth will be provided.
This is the same situation concerning homosexuality. Christians cannot allow homosexuality because the Bible states unambiguously that homsexuality is a sin. It's not a Christian sin to be a Christian and a non-practising homosexual. It's a sin only if it is practised. All those alleged Christian priests who accept practising homosexuals into their Churches, are traitorous devils in the eyes of God. They are going to hell. There will be gnashing, etc., etc., (See reference to teeth, above.)
If a person is not a Christian, there is nothing wrong with homosexuality in a Christian country. Go for it. But, please, even though homosexuals cannot get pregnant, (not yet), do use condoms.
Christian couples can make mistakes too. I would say it depends on why they are getting a divorce...an affair v. ';not being in love anymore';. If one spouse cheated, I would say that a divorce is justified. However, Christians are also taught that God is forgiving and that we should be too. If they got married too young and have grown apart, that can happen to anyone regardless of religious denomination. I think they should try to make it work though. If they divorce and get remarried, I think that is okay. I just wouldn't make it a habit.
Hope the 2nd marriage works out unlike that first hellish one that didn't.
If I were you, I'd worry more about what you do, and less about what other people do.
..
good for them..they are trying to find happiness in their relationships.
Christians are just people, and we make mistakes like anyone, and sometimes we get divorced. divorce is not the unforgivable sin, and even God is divorced. He divorced Israel for spiritual adultery. things happen. you repent and move on, and if that means you find another then live and be happy. see the flaw in some people's thinking is it is written once married to sleep with another is adultery. the problem is when you repent, sins are blotted out. once you repent of the first marriage it is wiped clean and never existed, and you are then free of that sin, and are free to go on with life, including remarriage if you want.
Did they remarry each other?
I don't think anyone should stay in a marriage that's not salvageable. That's pretty masochistic. However, I don't think divorce is the quick answer, it should be undertaken only if all other efforts fail to bring about a marriage that is supportive and fair to both parties.
As far as remarriage, why not? There is precious little in the world other than love that provides a certain amount of comfort between people. Some seem to thrive better in marriages than others. I don't think we can judge them based on our values or religions. IT's hard enough to monitor my own failings let alone look for failings in others!
What God puts together no man can take apart. Its in the bible. also Jesus speaks on it in Matthew chapter 5 verses31-32 in so much words it means that a divorce is OK if your partner commits adultery. But as a christian who follows the word should know there is no such thing as getting a divorce for unrecognizable differences or for any other man made law.
What are you saying? That christian couples are different than anyone else? Why would you put yourself in a different class than anyone else?
I really hate it when people use religion to justify their own needs and then chastise others because they have different opinion or religous beliefs.
i don't think christian is different with others.
they are just human. they can love and hate.
If you want the Biblical perspective, according to the Bible the ONLY reason you can remarry is if your spouse cheats on you or dies. That's IT.
If you don't want the Biblical perspective, I have no idea what answer you're searching for.

What are some things same-sex couples lack?
What don't we get because of our orientation?
I need help for my powerpoint that i have to present!
thanks!
:)What are some things same-sex couples lack?
In excess of 1100 Federal rights and responsibilities that are granted to straight married people.
Our marriages are exempted from the full faith and credit clause in the Constitution (Mass marriage isn't valid in Va).
Marriage in the vast majority of states.
The ability of married people to sponsor their spouse's immigration into this country.
The ability to express affection in public with acceptance and in safety. What are some things same-sex couples lack?
The same recognition from a state recognized marriage within the state we live in, if we move to ANOTHER state, %26amp; from the federal government.
My wife %26amp; I missed out on $3000 refund from the IRS, $1200/yr from the Veterans Administration which would otherwise include my wife as the dependant of a service-connected OEF/OIF veteran, %26amp; she can't be buried with me (like other spouses of military veterans) in a veterans cemetery. With my wife's layoff earlier this year, that money could be put to good use.
Well I have a biological kid, so i don't consider that a lack. I would say nothing in general for me:-)..but am just speaking for myself not for anyone.
biological children
in some places they lack rights
in some places they can't get married
people accepting them as much, but its better now a days
male couples lack pms haha
Hmmm...well, they lack the understanding and compassion of an intelligent 'straight' community to gain their 'rightful' EQUALITY in human society.
i think equal status in society (generally) as it's much mroe difficult to adopt etc.
Respect, in many countries. Freedom, too.
In some countries you get killed.
In some states in the U.S. you don't get the same rights as a married couple (health benefits, etc.)
having biological children with each other is probably the main onenew eyeshadow

What are some things that married couples fight about?
Obviously that whole newlywed phase wears off so what are things you might fight about? What are some things that married couples fight about?
We don't fight about money. Mostly if we fight, it's because we've had a bad day and one of us snaps at the other. We argue about the kids(discipline, the way he talks to them..irritates me to no end because he thinks it's hilarious to teach them the wrong words for things. I.E. the refrigerator is a bird, etc... Luckily they spend more time with me so they're not retarded) We're both stubborn so that causes a fight every once in a while. Nothing that can't be settled though. :)What are some things that married couples fight about?
well...alot of different stuff.....i dont really want to go into details with my dad, hes really picky, and mostly just an @ to me and my mom (and my 3 siblings) not really what u would call a model for a loving caring family man, anyway, i dont really want to go into details tho
they prob fight about money alot tho

Top 3: money, sex and religion - typically MONEY and SEX. The first year we always fought about territory - who put what where, etc. But now after 10 years, it's money - when we have alot, there's no bickering, when it gets low, then sh*t hits the fan! BILLS...
Money, thats why me and my guy have a house account and the rest we make is ours to do with as we wish . I have done it the other way and it doesnt work. We NEVER fight about money! Oh and who does more around the house! We split that stuff!
They lost their freedom. they have responsibilities now.this frustrates them..their money is being divided..so it is money...it is blaming each other for not getting enough attention..and blaming each other for not taking responsibilities...I guess.
It shouldn't 'wear off' if they have some good relationship skills (google it) and those skills will prevent the pattern of 'fights' when the honeymoon is over - in couples IGNORANT of relationship skills.
BILLS, bills, bills.
money is always a main issue. Occasionally the kids or timing. As in your always late for suzies games and to pick brad up. haha

What do u think of interracial couples?
i personally don't mind uf my friends date a guy from another race but with me i don't like it because i have no sexual attraction to any other race besides my own. idk y.
but it seems so odd for a (black)girl to be attracted to a (white) guy.
what is ur opinion on this. and what is it like to be attracted to a girl/guy of another race. What do u think of interracial couples?
I find nothing wrong with it, but like you, I'm personally not really attracted to men of different races. What do u think of interracial couples?
I don't honestly care lol I mean, if I see an interracial couple, I don't think of it any differently then two people of the same race dating.
There are some races I'm not really attracted to, but yeah I'm pretty open to anyone. To me, it's more about their personality and how we fit together, then it is about their skin color.
However, I would have a hard time marrying someone of another race IF their culture was so different that I would have to change the way I celebrated holidays.
And yes, naturally, I'm more attracted to people of my own race. I don't know why, but yeah I am.
And, don't feel bad about it. For you, it may change as you get older, it might not. Who knows? Either way, you can't help who your attracted to.
I think its perfectly fine. To be honest, my best friend is Asian and to me I don't really notice someones race or if I do its just like a thought that I don't even notice I'm having. I'm attracted to guys from almost every race! It is normal. A great guy is a great guy. A hot guy is a hot guy. Doesn't matter what nationality they are.
Oh and ';what its like'; is just like any other time you are attracted to someone!
You might want to keep an open mind because, you seem a little racist and might offend someone.
i agree with you. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, yet i used to be attracted to and dated a black lad my age. We kept it hush for a while, but when we were going to tell our parents, i couldn't bear it. My family have always been racist. Not in a despicable way, where they go round setting fire to corner shops, but just that they frowned upon the fact of interracial couples and didn't like immigrants coming into the UK. I agreed but found myself attracted to him. After talking for a long time, we decided to break up. It broke my heart and to this day i still love him, but i always wanted a relationship which would please my family. I know that sounds bad that I didn't have a relationship because of my family's views, but my family mean the world to me and when I'm older I'll probably know more about what I want - i just didnt think it was the right time for me to do this x
well its okay if you don't feel attracted to any other race besides your own. that doesn't make you racist or anything. but if you look down on another race, then that is racist.
i am white and my husband is black. we live in alabama so there are SOME people who are still stuck in the slave days who don't like it, but most everyone else could care less!
to me, race doesn't matter what-so-ever. it is what's on the inside that counts.
and as for your question-what is it like-it's just the same as when you're attracted to your own race.
besides, we're all human, and all of our blood is the same color.(and even if there's someone out there with different color blood than me, i still wouldn't care!)
and oh yeah-i dont see why you would find it ';odd'; for a black girl to be attracted to a white boy. aren't you attracted to white guys? why can't black girls be attracted to them? that comment was a little on the racist side...
I don't mind.
I think that's the way life should be. There should be no boundaries because of race, or sexuality. People are people. We all have hearts, we all have feelings, we should be treated the same. Honestly, I don't think African American people are any different from Caucasion people, other than skin color.
If I fell for a guy's personality, I'd go out with him, even if he was colored.
=]
really it doesn't matter, so ur not attracted to other races that's ok theres nothing wrong with that either. my story when i meant my husband i wasn't attracted to other races it just happen and im still not attracted to other races just him lol
I don't see how you can be attracted to another race, it's really not a pretty sight. I also don't like the fact that they produce half 'n half offspring.
One day, everyone will be half-breeds, LOL.
Seriously, quit with all the diversity BS already.
well im italian, hispanic, african american and native american and i usually date hispanics. but it doesnt really matter to me. i cant really date outside my race because im mixed wwith so many things but race shouldnt matter. love doesnt have a color, age or gender
I'm black, and my only boyfriends that I've had were white [and one asian]. I'm not attracted to my own race. And there's nothing wrong with it. Everyone is attracted to different types of people.
Actually me and my boyfriend are an interracial couple=)
There's nothing wrong with it as long as the two love each other.
Race should never determine whether or not two people see each other.
I think everyone has a right to date whoever they want, no matter what color, race, religion, etc. I prefer white men (and Im white too) but I find some black men hot.
I'd never have a problem with one, considering that I'm a result from an interracial marriage.
The only time I have a problem with it is when it's for ';show';..if you truly love someone for who they are, that's different.
There is nothing wrong with interracial couples at all.
There is nothing wrong with it. I'm biracial :)
USA- your so ignorant. Grow up dumb@ss..
People don't pick who they want to fall in love with it just happens. That my opinion on it.
Why should you even question it?
It's two people who love each other, forget their skin color.
There is nothing wrong with it of course.
i think theres absolutely nothing wrong with it
Nothing wrong with it. But I'm biracial so maybe that's biased.
There's nothing wrong with it.
People are people.
Skin color doesn't matter to me.
:]
as long as they are happy
who cares
it's what's inside that counts
i think that we love who we love and are attracted to who we are attracted to...doesn't matter what others feel about it.
i dont have a problem with it :) like that other person said. people are people.
nothing wrong at all with it skin color shouldn't matter
I've never been attracted to someone outside my race. It's just not me. I don't see anything wrong with it though.
i would never date a different race then mine but thats just me
but it seems so odd for a (black)girl to be attracted to a (white) guy.

I don't see anything wrong with it though.
i would never date a different race then mine but thats just me
How much do you think is the percentage of really fully sexually satisfied couples?
for some lotrs for others little
what ever works
but for me its little and love moreHow much do you think is the percentage of really fully sexually satisfied couples?
i say about 73%How much do you think is the percentage of really fully sexually satisfied couples?
makes not difference to me what the percentage is; what matters is that we are!
I think the # is low.Today people settle on the partners they are with.Lets face it between men and women there are your teachers and there are the students. If two teachers get together that is going to be a satisfied couple.I two students get together they will struggle to satisfy one another.
not more than 30% as the understanding among the couples diminishing drastically.before marriage and immediately after marriage will be better.sex life after that it drags. i think in India sex life is very good only in a few states. like Kerala, AP, Bengal, Karnataka, Gujarat. there are many states where limitations, joint family atmosphere etc. I'm sure not more than 30-32% overall.
Having asked this question in many forms for about 20 years, I maintain it is about 1 in 7.
Approximately 15%.
I mean where BOTH partners are satisfied. [not the woman *telling* the man he is satisfied :-) ]
Based on 'my' relationship with my husband, 100%!! Based on what I read on these forums, 10%. Looks to me there are a lot of people who sell themselves short in relationships.
every couple is different ...for some ... every night .. sometime during the day ...is enough ..and satisfying .. for others twice a week is great .. or once a week ... its what works for the two people in that relationship ... satisfaction for each person is different ...
10%..
i would say about 38%. i think there are many mismatched couples. if there is a match of chemistry in general as well as sexual chemistry, that will more likely be a satisfied couple. if there is a lacking in one of the two i think there will be more issues arising from the lack of.
There can't be really too many because of the divorce rate. I would have to say maybe 10-15 percent. It's really sad.
by not having sex anymore....
based on my experience....before marriage my husband and i tried all crazy things which makes our heart out fly.(i was over satisfied with it and so with my husband too)....but later on when we're married and have a child...that feeling was gone.... we rarely make love....
SEX is not really important for some other couples...eventhough it is...but not for everyone though...
i dunno but
not too many,sadly

Where can i network with couples who want an egg donor?
i am considering being an egg donor for infertile couples but i dont think i could commit to it and go to a clinic until i make a bond with the people i wish to donate my eggs to.
where can i find listings by people looking for egg donors???Where can i network with couples who want an egg donor?
there are mainly three types of egg donations: anonymous, semi-known and known. regardless which type you choose, a lot of agencies offer all of these possibilities. however i don't find much time is given to get to know the PIP's(potential intended parents) since time is money and most parties involved are keen to get the show on the road so to speak. in your case, i would suggest matching independently. in that way you personally contact the IP's whose profiles interest you or vice versa if you place an advert. here are some sites to get you started:

Do you think same sex couples should have the same rights for adopting children?
Few thoughts, 1. America needs something called civil union. If need be I'll explain what I mean by this but it would be two adults regardless of gender who are of a legal age getting a piece of paper that entitled them to certain legal rights, like health care from the one person's employer, etc. 2. The standard for who will adopt needs to be a high one, very high. 3. If the civil union is able to meet this high standard, then they shall be eligible to adopt.
To the person who said if they are raised in a gay family, what will they become, that is just hogwash. My wife's brother is this big fat gay man. His parents were heterosexual. How come he isn't a big fat straight guy?
I am a father to a two and a half year old child. I give my child a few things. The main thing is love, hugs, kisses, smiles. I give him food, last night it was chicken. I give him a bath. I give him clothes. I give him a roof and a bed. I take him to day care. I spent four grand on surgery when insurance wouldn't pay and didn't blink an eye.
If two men or two women are willing to do that, and this is a tough tough thing for all of us to do, than I would welcome it.
The benefits of being a parent, for me, satisfaction that I am doing the greatest thing I will ever do. The right to parent a child should not be denied because someone is not with a member of the opposite gender.
The idea that a child ';needs'; a mommy and a daddy, with the divorce rate at 50% or higher amougst married couples, please, be intellectually honest, and shut your pie hole.Do you think same sex couples should have the same rights for adopting children?

Do you think same sex couples should have the same rights for adopting children?
If their relationship is stable and legal, yes. I think that's necessary to protect the child and parents from custody and inheritance challenges in the future. We have no way of knowing now what the future will hold for any parent or parents we approve for adoption. A single parent approved for adoption may have all kinds of future problems that can't be predicted. So can a heterosexual couple.
Stable, loving, financially able and psychologically and socially adjusted are much more important than sexual orientation. - Just an opinion.
Yes, definitely. It is getting to be more and more accepted, for one thing, but for another there are so many children that should have a loving home instead of being bounced around to different foster parents. Anyone who wants to adopt a child is taking on a huge responsibility, it's not something you take lightly. Whether it's a same sex marriage or not that child will have a loving home.
Absolutely not. Gays are almost always very good people, but misguided in their beliefs. It would not be a natural invironment for the children.
Personally, I do not agree with homosexuality. Do I think they should have rights? Yes, because they are human beings. But should they be able to do all of the things that heterosexual couples do? No. Single people don't have the same rights as married people.
that is a good question. i belive in God so it is against my religion to be gay. but, the bible also says treat others as you want to be treated and i would want to be treated fairly. so haveing said that, why not. i mean if we say no it is not going to make them not gay. and we cant treat them like dogs and give them no rights at all because that goes against the bible teachings of treating others as you want to be treated. we should tell them that the bible says it is wronge but leave it at that. we have done our job of teaching the bible and the rest is between them and God.
No, Because the kid will have a very hard time in school. Think about it, it just would not be fair to them.
no ... cuz if the child was raised by a gay couple .. what do you think he/she will become ?
Of course I do!! An orphan child will be much better in a house, with two loving parents (it doesn't matter if they are two moms or two dads) food, clothing, education and love, than in the dangerous streets or in an orphanage where he usually will live under extremely poverty conditions and sometimes will be bad treated and won't have enough food and with no good educational opportunities at all
I think that if people want to teach kids moral this gay couple adopting thing is out of the question, what would kids see and how would they turn out, i personally dont think is right and i dont think God agrees either.
yes - same sex couples who make a commitment to parenting a child by choosing to adopt should have the same rights and responsibilities that hetero couples have.
I really like and agree with little_debbie's and Susy's answers. I don't think we should force our beliefs onto other people and when it comes down to it, a child with a home and two loving parents (regardless of gender, race, religion, etc.) is much better off than a child in an orphanage with little guidance and even less love.
Also, children of gay parents are no more likely to become gay than children of straight parents. If gay parents made gay kids (and vice versa), how could have we gotten gay kids from straight parents?
An added note: I really like and appreciate Uber_wise_James' answer! People have some really great responses on here.new eyeshadow

no but it definately helps if they spot you looking. You can always say you lost your dog if they ask, you can even say that's why you were looking through there window, to see if they'd stolen him. Do you think any Mormon couples swing?
I am not talking about many here. I am talking about if maybe a handful nationally swing.Do you think any Mormon couples swing?
I don't think they swing with other mormon couples they probably go online or greg's list to find other couple who are not mormon, and the big question is, if they have been to the temple, do they take off their temple garments before they meet the swinging couple to get intimate with them, I have heard of gay men in Ut who pick up other gay men and some are surprised to find temple garments under the gay man they just picked up.Do you think any Mormon couples swing?
Probably. People have a tendency of developing their own moral framework using bits and pieces of their world - religion, family background, personal experience, etc. In my opinion, this would explain why people of the same religious background can disagree so strongly about certain issues. Whether swinging is moral or not is an independent judgment, so I think it's possible that a Morman couple might try.
Well, considering some Mormon divisions still believe in plural marriages, I'd guess probably so. Although I doubt they call it swinging, since only the man has the ';benefit'; of more than one bowl of wax to dip his wick into.
What kind of question is this? That's like saying: ';Do you think any Catholic couples swing'; or better yet, ';Do you think any human couples swing';.
Give me a break.
Probably. I'm sure the christmas and easter only mormons would be swingers. I don't see why not. Now the super mormons that believe in multiple wives...I don't see why they would when they already have mutliple wives.
There probably is but they can't be practicing LDS/Mormons because that religion forbids swinging or sex outside marriage. Would you consider them Mormons still if they broke the laws of their church, regarless of whether they had been caught?
Yes, I'm sure theres been some Mormons who've done that. It is a serious sin as well and would probably get them excommunicated.
The answer is yes. I think any religion couple can be interested in swinging and participating. Religion has nothing to do with it.
I'm sure there are, but you won't find a ';Mormon Swingers Club';. It will have no affiliation with religion.
I'm sure there is some that do, although they have to bring in extra males to take care of all the women.
More porn is sold in Utah than anywhere else, so I wouldn't be surprised.
some times you see a question on yahoo that just makes you laugh till something shoots out your nose
If there is a park nearby.
So who cares?
I doubt it.
hmm, you wanna find out?? lol

People have some really great responses on here.

I doubt it.
hmm, you wanna find out?? lol

In your opinion-what makes couples start ';living for each other';?
i hear all the time about couple who have been married a really really long time and after one passes, the other one does too. or some couples make each other the center of their life.
but then i hear about couple who are just together and really love each other. but its not the main part of their life. and of course other couples just divorce and remarry over and over.
why do you think this is?? what makes some peoples relationships work like the first example? is there a secret or is it just destiny? what do you think? In your opinion-what makes couples start ';living for each other';?
A marriage is a work in progress, it really never stops changing and evolving. Every person is different and I think the persons in your last example are those that are more focused on being able to go it alone if something happens. A form of personal independence just in case the partner leaves or dies. And it seem to become a self fulfilling prophesy too, those that prepare for the worst are often those that does get divorced often too.
One of the worst days in my life was walking into my grandparents kitchen and seeing my grandmother stand by my grandfathers chair. She had tears in her eyes and she said; ';I guess you've heard that my best friend is dead now.'; That's how she look at my grandfather, he was her best friend, the one person in the world that she always could trust. Deep inside I wondered if she'd survive or if she'd die too. That's years ago and she's still here but she's not the same, she's faded, it's as if he took a big part of her with him when he left.
They were dedicated to each other and they looked after each other. There were no ';what if's'; it was him and her ';til death do us part';. During the hard times they found help and strength in each other and in the good times they enjoyed it together. As their lives changed they handled it and moved on, always looking to the other to see what they thought. They are/were both strong individuals that always stood their ground when it came to different issues. But, they were even stronger together and they knew it. It was a choice that they made, the togetherness that they had, and they worked on it constantly.
As a deep contrast I see my parents loving each other and living together but going at it alone. My mother had me as a teen and she had to make it on her own for years until she met my (step) father. To me it seems as she's always ready to manage things on her own. She doesn't discuss things with my father and he doesn't talk about things with her either. (Unless it's major decisions of course.) I think being a teenage mom made her ';hard'; and that she doesn't want to be dependent on anyone, just in case...
I got married ';til death do us apart';, just as my grandmother I'm married to my best friend. The day I stood looking down at him in a bed at the ICU listening to the Dr's telling me he might not live another day ... my whole world shattered. I couldn't see how I'd be able to live without him. He survived, but the road back has been long and hard on both of us. Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I'm living the life that I want to live, with the closeness that I have to my husband. We know that one of us will have to pay the prize one day, but it will have been well worth it. Life and marriage wouldn't have been the same, or even worth it to us, if we hadn't made the commitment that we made (and are still doing). In your opinion-what makes couples start ';living for each other';?
i don't think that there is a secret to be able to stay with somebody for a long time.. if you are open to communication and love each other spiritually mentally and emotionally and there is a strong trust bond then anything is possible..

Can you believe all the couples from the baby borrowers broke up?
i thought jordan and sasha would stay together! Can you believe all the couples from the baby borrowers broke up?
Oh my word so did I!!! I was like WHAT?!? when they went through each couple and said they all broke up! And I started crying when they said that the man's wife passed away after the show! And that this was in memory of her!!! It was so sad because they were so cute! I really hope they do another season of Baby Borrowers...I think that would be so fun!! But yes I totally thought Jordan and Sasha seemed to be doing great and I was shocked when they said they broke up!Can you believe all the couples from the baby borrowers broke up?
i wasn't surprised at all. i think they all realized they were too young to be so serious and after this experience they wanted to just be young and have fun. doesn't mean that a couple or two won't reunite in the future once they've matured a bit. what they went through was tough. even for adults it would be tough. i think they learned a lot.
I was really sad at the end when they did the recap of the couples. I thought at least one of them would have stayed together. Out of all of them I thought Sasha %26amp; Jordan had the best chance. I wonder what they will say at the town hall meeting next week? It was a good show.
no, honestly I wasn't-- one broke up in the show, the next couple decided to finish the show, but were done as a couple.... teens change partners like a school schedule....the only thing I can say i'm happy for is they learned they weren't meant to be together before they had kids
No surprise there. I guess they realized that they weren't anywhere close to being adults or assuming adult responsibilities. The great thing is that they all learned something. Hopefully some of these teens who think they know everything watched and learned something as well.
It was kind of sad at the end to see they went thru all of that but couldn't manage to stay together. Oh well. They are young. Trust me...make sure you're with the right person before you settle down and have kids.
Yeah, typical teenage relationships.
Some kids date for a while, but most last for like 6 or 7 months max, so its not shocking.
yeah it was weird me and my family where sitting there thinking what the heck i thought at least one of them would stay together
No shock there. Brandee's got it right. Teens change partners every five minutes - a lot of them anyway.
Not a shock to me -

What is a good winter beach vacation spot suited to young couples, outdoor restaurants, bars, no all-inclusive
Looking for something with no, or few, kids, outdoor bars/restaurants with diverse, great, inexpensive food, good beach, lots of activities and, most importantly, no all-inclusive madness - we like to feel that we actually left the US:). Playa Del Carmen in Mexico to me is the perfect place, but we already went there last year, so want to try a different place but along the same lines - as opposed to the high-rise, recreating america type madness in Cancun. Cant find a thing that is similar - or even close - to Playa though ??? any suggestions ?What is a good winter beach vacation spot suited to young couples, outdoor restaurants, bars, no all-inclusive
We loved Montego Bay in Jamaica. The weather was perfect in January. It was an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The beaches are beautiful. They have a lot of outside restaurants, which aren't expensive. If you go, be sure to go to Senor Frogs. It is a great place for fun!!!! Food is great too, and be sure to buy one of their cute t-shirts!
They have a lot inclusives as well as several non-inclusive hotels there.
You will love it! You will NOT want to come home!!!!! I guarantee it!

Is there any drug rehab centers anywhere in the us that allow couples we both need treatment?
There are several treatment centers here in the US,and I'm just not positive about this, but I do not think that you and your spouse will be in the exact same areas together.I am NOT sure about that,I was told that the center will keep partners apart from each other until their treatment if completed. But again I stress this to you..';not sure about that';.But yes I know for a fact there are soooo many rehab treatment centers here in the US.I am now in a support group recovering myself now (finally) It's a real shame now to me to know that I actually wasted many years of my life doing what I was then doing. But now I can change and have changed my life for the better.I must always remember to keep my head above water. There is a young man in 1 of my groups he is also recovering and WOW!!! he is back in college,is NOW on the deans list, has a 3.9 GPA and the sky for him is not the limit...I'm proud of myself and for anyone who is willing to totally change their lives.I'm sorry I rambled on here,I just get a little excited when I read that someone is willing to make a change. And your answer is YES there are many treatment centers here in america. As for couples I think that they will seperate you both for individual groups(not sure though). And NO you will NOT be allowed to share a room/bed.I wish you ALL the best and you should be very proud that you and your partner are actually willing to make a huge change (for the better) in both your lives...Is there any drug rehab centers anywhere in the us that allow couples we both need treatment?

Depending on your finances; most would accept both you %26amp; your wife. However, you wouldn't be sleeping in the same room.
First of all, I have to say congratulations on being at a point where not only you are ready for treatment but your partner as well, that is amazing! You are already past the biggest hurdle there is to a life clean and sober. I can see why it is important for you to ask this question, because it would not be a good thing for you to get treatment at a location that employs completely different tools and philosophies than the center where your significant other receives their treatment, in case they conflict. It would always be preferable to go through an identical program, but at the same time, it is not a good thing to be at the same center as your significant other since you will be battling your addiction and need to make sure you remove any chance of holding yourself back. What I mean is that, being in a group therapy, you may find yourself holding back because you love your significant other and therefore filter things as to not damage your relationship (rightfully so).
What I would suggest is you contact Journey Healing Centers, they have multiple centers in the USA that offer the same treatment philosophy and tools for healing. That way you can both experience the same treatment and support, while giving each other the ability to not hold back as you take on your healing full force. You will be able to stay in touch with one another throughout your treatment and since all of their centers offer Free Aftercare for Life, you will be able to strengthen one another for the rest of your lives as you attend meetings together and work your program after you have established your own solid base. You will have everything in common as far as tools for sobriety while assuring that your are giving each other the ability to heal you both deserve. Best of luck!

Do you think condoms are a good birth control method for married couples?
yes? why not?!
If they dont want a baby, then its an excellent form of contraception.
Just because a couple are married doesnt necessarily mean they can or want to have unprotected sex - condoms are a great allrounder against pregnancy, STDs, and non invasive (Eg like the coil!) and they dont mess up your hormones etc (like the pill!)
Each to their own i say! :o) But if someone really doesnt want to get pregnant, then they should always use at least 2 forms of contraception!Do you think condoms are a good birth control method for married couples?
In my part of the world a Christian are people who get infected with Aids and only they should use such a device. Even the Deputy Commissioner believes like that a Bong!!
I do not know about birth control but one thing I know is it sure is a safe method from getting AIDS.Safe sex is the by word but do not change partners are no more valid. I still remember the like of Anil Kumble ads... there were a few lists and having one partner was one of them. That speaks for the one who advertises.Do you think condoms are a good birth control method for married couples?
I'd say sure! Plus, there's no side effects, like there can be with birth control pills or other hormonal methods. Other options would be barrier methods for the female (the sponge, cervical cap, or diaphram), and also the Fertility Awareness Method.
HONESTLY NO! I RECENTLY CAME OFF OF B/C DUE TO MY AGE AND I SMOKE! I WORRY FOR EVERY MONTH THAT I AM PREGNANT!FROM PERIOD TO PERIOD!CONDOMS DO NOT HAVE A VERY HIGH PERCENTAGE OF NOT GETTING PREGNANT!I FEEL A LIL AT EASE WHEN USING ENCARE WITH THEM!JUST IN CASE A LIL DOES GET THRU THAT WILL KILL IT =]
no, birth control pills and condoms work better. i was on the ortho evera patch for 5yrs, and no babies. lol. worked for us. no condoms for us either, i am allergic to all latex
any form of birth control is better than the pull-out method, so i would say yes. you are less likely to get pregnant with a condom, but it's still not 100% bc it could break.
yea and birth control pills?
Yes, but as added protection birth control pills should also be taken.
My step daughter uses 2 condoms at a time and the pill, she doesn't want any kids from the losers she lives with. LOL
Sure why not. I only went on the pill because I was having terrible cramps. Condoms provide less of a chance of bladder infection too.
Effective? Yes! Good? It's up to you. I am allergic and hate them so for us it is not good. But that's probably why I got pregnant a few months after marriage!
If your married, you should be feeling the *real thing*, no doubt. Get rid of those condoms! Rubber takes away the passion.
like most contraception's there is always a risk
the condom could split break
its better for both of you to be on contraception if you don't want a baby
Yes... the effectiveness of condoms doesn't change simply because you're married :)
They can be, but why not get on birth control? its not enjoyable when your having sex with a big thing of plastic in the way!
YES, especially when you want to hold off on having kids for a while.
Sure, why not? worked for us. I guess.
my idea is YES
