What is the normal age difference nowadays between courting couples?

It depends. The younger (highschool) crowd would say 0-2 years age difference, while for the adults (19+) it varies. My observation of the adults seems to indicate 0-8 years age difference as the norm, though of course we all know couples who are 10 or more years apart....What is the normal age difference nowadays between courting couples?
Nowadays it is difficult to say what a ';normal courting couple is';.

Most of us on here have assumed they are 1 male and 1 female

but what if they are 2 of same sex?

Age doesn't really matter, as long as they are happy. What is the normal age difference nowadays between courting couples?
i was 15 and my now husband was 21 when we first met, and we have now been married for 14 years!
Well the age difference between my boyfriend and I is 4 years, but I am 18 and he is 22. If you are under 18 then you should stick with no one more than 2 years older or younger than you. But honestly, I don't think it matters that much so long as you are mature enough to understand that someone much older than you could take advantage of you and you have to be strong enough not to allow that.
1 year
';Normal'; is all relative; what is normal to one person, is not going to be normal to another person. As long as the two parties are of consenting age and are both happy with the arrangement I don't think it really matters.
Whatever they are comfortable with as long as they are both over 18 years of age.
age is generally not a concern, what factors are important are communication, likes and chemistry
Dont know... if they are happy and in the legal age who cares??
It doesn't matter, as long as the man is older, generally speaking.

This, of course, is contrary to the liberal idea that it ';doesn't matter'; if the woman is much older.
