I have noticed that in like at least 95% of the commercial that go on TV, the couples are always white-white, black-black, or asian-asian. Why can't they have couples that are white-black, or white-asian, or black-asian, etc? Isn't this promoting racism? I mean, it's not weird to see interracial couples - I see them all the time! Why can't they ever have couples/families that are asian-black, or asian-white, or white-black, etc?Why aren't there any interracial couples on TV?
i knowww!!!!!!
i dont know why. but what i do notice is, that the very few interracial couples that i HAVE, EVER seen on tv, or in movies, are always stereotypical, and juvenile, and the whole relationship was centered on them getting over their struggles as an interracial couple. this is incredibly stereotypical and small-minded. one of my exbfs that i fell in love with is black, and every couple that ive ever seen in the movies or on tv, that i thought was just like him %26amp; i, were always white%26amp;white or black%26amp;black. thats because noooobody can relate to those silly fake interracial couples they put on tv.
they def. need to have more NORMAL interracial couples on tv %26amp; in the movies.. blame it on the writers. they need to get out more and realize that good writing takes from real life, and doesnt just try to please the crappy stereotypes in the media. Why aren't there any interracial couples on TV?
I've seen a couple of interracial couples in commercials, but never like a white-black couple... But they are on tv-shows all the time, like on House with thirteen and foreman
The vast majority of people marry someone within there own race so, I'm assuming that if they want to appeal to more people they pair up couples of the same race.
jon and kate plus 8 is a tv show about an asian-white family.
have you not seen wife swap
