What are inexpensive things for couples to do?

I need creative things to with my boyfriend. We always go to the movies or somewhere to eat and then crash at his place. What are other things to do that aren't too much money but are also fun? What are inexpensive things for couples to do?
My boyfriend and I have been together over 2yrs and live together, we've been together long enough that we often want new things to do together but don't always have a lot of money. So my advice would be, do things that your town/city has to offer. I live in Tampa, FL near the water so I've come up with ideas to make a lunch and bring a picnic to a grassy area along the water. Thats free if you've got the food at home. Or if you don't live near water...any nice parks nearby?

And for something more romantic..do that at night, have a picnic somewhere nice at night, bring some candles or a lantern or a couple flashlights for lighting, bring dinner you made at home and stargaze together.

Take a bike ride, walk, jog, or rollerblade somewhere nice, maybe in a park, along a trail, along a sidewalk by the water if you've got any areas like that where you live.

Maybe find a bar/lounge nearby with digital dart boards...they're cheap to play a few games and can be kinda fun.

Its almost halloween, if you haven't carved pumpkins, maybe do that...they're not the cheapest but its a fun thing to do.

Have a movie/dinner night at home where you pick a recipe and try to cook it together. Play a board game too.

You just have to think of the resources you have and what your city has to offer... it takes some brainstorming. What are inexpensive things for couples to do?
bowling!!!!
go hang out at the playground.
Go on a hike in the mountains, or chill in a local park. Find places with a good view at night around the city. Roller blade? Look for things you enjoy in normal life. the simple pleasures.
museums are often free of charge, or cost very little, and you can spend hours there. you could go for a walk along a beach or a river, whatever. rent a video instead of the theatre, take turns cooking for each other. those are just a few things. there must be thousands of others. (parades, street festvals, stuff like that)
Fun is a matter of opinion.

i go outside and sit on the grass with my girl ;) its cheap as long as you don't sit in anything ;)

watch a film at home.
Skip the part where you go some where and crash at his house all day.
umm...you could go for a walk.

watch tv

cuddle

talk

cook lol
OMG. best things ever are picnics. there soo much fun and you guys could make the food together too.
Go hiking, check out antique stores, go to a coffee shop or bookstore, picnic, visit college campus, look in local newspaper or website's Events section, hang out with friends, play a board game or cards, paint or draw, think of something cool to talk about, build something, rake leaves, go swimming, stargazing at night, play catch with a frisbee, fly a kite, do homework together, go people-watching at a public place, visit a festival or fair, go to free local concert, check out museums or historical landmarks, hang out at the mall, sing or play instruments, take dog for a walk, go for a drive, play horse (basketball game), miniature golf, go sledriding or build a snowman, go ice skating, ride bikes, make smores over a bonfire, play dress-up and try on goofy clothes (at home or in a store), read and act out a play together, take goofy pictures, cook together
How about going hiking, going to a museum, going for a drive in the country, going to a free concert, going to a dance, etc. etc.
walk throught the park; go to the beach; movies; picnic; free concerts
You can always take a moonlit walk, go to the park, enjoy the fall and do a picnic. Look for activities, like festivals. I used to love to walk through the park in the moonlight hand in hand.
Outdoor activities are always less expensive then the indoor ones.
