What shows, programs etc give weddings for couples?

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 7 years, we want to get married but money always seems to be an issue. I would love to surprise him with a way to get married whether its a tv show or whatever.What shows, programs etc give weddings for couples?
If money is an issue, why not just wed at the courthouse? Would certainly be much, much easier than trying to get on a TV show.

Click on your state for details. The site may not be updated, but phone numbers for the courthouses will be at the bottom of your state's page. You call the local courthouse to set up a date/time for your wedding.

You can follow the intimate courthouse wedding with a barbecue or party at your home for your friends and family members. If money is an issue, you can serve just cake and punch at a non-meal time.

There are inexpensive ways to wed. If you two are really serious about getting married, why not just wed inexpensively???

No one is entitled to a big, expensive wedding. If you can afford one, great! But if one cannot . . . then one does what one can afford.

Check out this wedding with a $2000 budget

I think that being creative . . . as this couple did . . . is so much more special and personalized than being on a TV show.

My advice? Grow up, put aside those childhood romantic dreams of a huge wedding. They are dreams, not reality. Work, save, and do what you two can afford. Good luck to you.What shows, programs etc give weddings for couples?
What's wrong with having a small marriage a mini-moon and skipping a reception. My fiance and I decided to have a very small ceremony, only 10 people and we are taking them out to eat at a nice restaurant afterward. We are going on a nice honeymoon, bu a few months later we are having a celebration for our marriage and inviting more family. All in all our ceremony and dinner after is costing us 500 bucks but it was going to cost only 200 if we choose a different venue for the ceremony. A wedding doesn't have to cost, the more people you have involved the more expensive it is.

ETA: Oh but to answer your question more directly, there is ';Wedding Day'; and ';Hitched or Ditched';
