When you consider that by and large gays tend to be usually in a professionals occupation, University educated and in the higher income/tax brackets then the real truth is that their tax dollars are carrying you ...not the other way around!

Actually gay couples get screwed OUT of the rebate... because since gay marriages are ILLEGAL, the couple CANNOT FILE AS MARRIED FILING JOINTLY---however as individuals, they ARE entitled to the rebate checks as long as they worked and filed for taxes in previous years.... why shouldn't they get it---like its been said... they work TOO.... why do you care so much or FEAR gays so much ? did one of them ever do something directly to YOU??? They aren't asking YOU to be gay so who are they hurting???? I really dislike people who decide people of color or of a different religion or gay or lesbian people are no good just because they are not like YOU... I have several gay friends and in MOST cases, they treat people better then their hetro counterparts.... they certainly are a LOT more honest.....now grow up and learn to be more tolerant....
