What is your opinion about gay couples adopting a child?

I would rather see a child raised by a happy and healthy gay couple than go through foster homes or live with abusive parents. If the child is raised in a healthy environment he/she can be happy regardless of the sexual orientation of the parents. I believe that as a society our views will continue to shift in favor of gay adoption. We have always been a country that moves forward and grants rights and privileges to our citizens. We do not historically pass laws or regulations to take rights away from people and when we have (18th amendment - prohibition of alcohol) we usually find out quickly it was a big mistake (21st amendment - repealed the 18th amendment)!What is your opinion about gay couples adopting a child?
every child needs a loving family, all the better if it is 2 parents. And what does it matter what sex they each are. As long as they both love the child, wish them all the luck in their future with a child. And no I am not gay,, I just believe that everyone deserves to be who they are, not what others want them to be. A happy home makes for a happy child.
